Collection: Chopping / Cutting Board
Colour coded chopping boards help kitchens avoid cross-contamination by keeping a separate board for each food group. Boards come in two common sizes, 530 × 325mm (GN1/1 footprint) and 400 × 300mm, in a full set of colours.
Buying guide
In UK kitchens the usual colour code is red for raw meat, blue for raw fish, yellow for cooked meat, green for salad and fruit, brown for vegetables and white for bakery and dairy. Thicker boards (20mm) are more stable for heavy chopping. Replace boards once deeply scored, as cuts can trap bacteria.
