Business Terms of Sale
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These Business Terms of Sale apply when you tell us at checkout that you are buying as a Business / Trade customer (B2B). They are taken from our Terms of Service and Return and Refund Policy, and are read together with them.
1. Who these terms apply to
You are a Business Customer if you are buying equipment or items for use in a business, trade, commercial kitchen, restaurant, takeaway, café, school, charity, landlord capacity or institutional environment, or under a business name. You agree that the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (including cooling-off periods) do not apply to your order.
2. Seller
My Globel LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Company Registration Number 16178604. VAT Registration Number GB483774741. ICO Registration Number ZB961612. Registered trading address: 2 Pearkes House, Fairfield Avenue, Watford, WD19 7EW, United Kingdom. Email: hello@myglobel.co.uk.
3. Prices, taxes and VAT
All base prices on our website are shown exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is calculated at checkout at the prevailing UK standard rate and is the responsibility of the buyer. We may adjust prices at any time without notice. If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a system error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund before dispatch.
4. Delivery, kerbside transit and transfer of risk
Heavy commercial kitchen equipment, extraction hoods and large refrigeration units are delivered by heavy freight transport to the kerbside or business threshold only. Drivers are not insured to move machinery inside your premises, unpack boxes or navigate stairs. You must ensure adequate access for large delivery vehicles; if a delivery fails because the business is closed during operating hours or a vehicle cannot safely access the premises, a standard redelivery fee will be charged. Risk of damage or loss passes to the buyer on delivery and signing of the carrier's transit note.
5. Inspection and transit damage
You must inspect the packaging and goods before signing the delivery note. If you see or suspect damage, refuse the delivery or sign the note explicitly as "DAMAGED". Report transit damage, dents, missing components or short deliveries to hello@myglobel.co.uk with photographs within 24 hours of delivery so we can investigate and make any courier insurance claim.
6. Returns and cancellations
There is no automatic right to cancel or return an item for change of mind or because it does not fit your premises. All trade sales are final, except where goods are faulty, materially misdescribed or do not conform to the contract. At our sole discretion, an exceptional return of an incorrectly ordered item may be authorised in writing and is subject to a 25% restocking and administration fee. Returned items must be unused, never switched on or connected to gas, water or electricity, and in their original factory packaging with protective film intact. The buyer arranges, pays for and fully insures the return carriage. Special orders, bespoke items, built-to-order stainless steel fabrications, clearance stock, unsealed gas-powered units and items marked Final Sale cannot be cancelled or returned unless required by law or proven faulty on delivery.
7. Installation, safety and warranty
Heavy commercial catering equipment, extraction systems, commercial refrigeration and hardwired gas or electrical appliances must be installed and commissioned by a certified professional engineer (for example Gas Safe or NICEIC). For a warranty claim you must provide a dated installation certificate or diagnostic report from a certified engineer. Warranties cover structural component failures; wearable items (door seals, bulbs, glass, fuses), blockages and faults caused by poor maintenance are not covered. We accept no liability for failure, damage or injury caused by improper or self-installation.
8. Refunds
We will tell you within 10 business days of receiving an authorised return whether the refund is approved. Approved business refunds are made to the original payment method minus the 25% restocking fee and any outbound shipping adjustments.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or revenue, downtime, staff wages, reputation, or spoiled food and stock caused by equipment failure or delivery delays. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the net price paid for the item concerned.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
